Our excellent COCO CHIPS is cleaned and ready to use both indoors and outdoors right out of the package. You may use these chips into all of your potting mixes to minimize soil compaction and improve drainage and water retention, ensuring that your plants do not go thirsty or drown. You may also use it to mulch.

COCO CHIPS are also a great growth medium for orchids, bromeliads, hoyas, and other tropical plants and cuttings that often grow on tree trunks since they drain well and allow for plenty of air circulation.

Directions for usage

To use, incorporate the desired amount of coco chips into nutrients mix. The amount varies depending on the type of plant, but for standard indoor plants, add around 30% or 50% to your mix.

For orchids and other tropical plants, you may grow them only on coco chips. For these plants, wet the coco chips, remove any other growth material from the roots, and place it in them.
