1. Hydrate the Coco Coir Pellets:

   

   • Place the coco coir pellets in a shallow tray or container.
   • Slowly pour water over the pellets, allowing them to absorb the water and expand. You can use a container large enough to hold all the pellets you intend to use.
   • Ensure the pellets are thoroughly soaked. You’ll know they’re ready when they have expanded and are loose and fluffy. This usually takes a few minutes. Drain any excess water if necessary.
2. Prepare Seed Trays or Containers:

   

   • Fill seed trays or containers with the hydrated coco coir. Leave a little space at the top to accommodate the seeds.
3. Sow Your Seeds:

   

   • Follow the seed packet instructions for the appropriate depth and spacing for your particular seeds.
   • Gently press the seeds into the coco coir, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact.
4. Watering:

   

   • Monitor the moisture level in the coco coir. Keep it consistently moist but not waterlogged. You can water from the bottom by placing the trays in a shallow container of water and allowing the coir to absorb water through the drainage holes.
5. Transplanting:

   

   

   • Once your seedlings have grown large enough and have a couple of true leaves (the first leaves that appear after the initial seed leaves), you can transplant them into larger pots or directly into your garden.
