The Buffering Process of coco peat (Simplified)

1. Pre-washed coco peat is soaked in a calcium nitrate (Ca(NO₃)₂) or calcium-magnesium solution.
2. The calcium ions displace the sodium and potassium ions attached to the coir particles.
3. The media is then rinsed to wash out the displaced Na⁺ and K⁺ ions.
